Biography
Chair Professor John R. Hamilton (PhD) is currently attached to the Cairns Institute as Adjunct Chair Professor and futures researcher, and to the College of Business, Law and Governance as Primary and PhD Mentor-Supervisor and as lead researcher and statistician.
Main Personal Research Domains: Generative artificial intelligences, competitiveness, sustainability, digital innovation& strategic business futures.
Ongoing Research: Personal Higher Doctorate ‘Grand Theory of Competitiveness.’ Business consulting into India and Pakistan. PNG education system assessment. Generative AI. Qld. Body Corporates. Past Corporate Capabilities: Extensive corporate national (and international) ownership, leadership and management experience across digital/physical engaging interactive environments.
2016-2022: John teamed to build innovative start-ups and innovative networks for North Queensland. Further researched digital/flexible higher education systems. Researched with Cairns Institute, TheSPACE and PNG. Tested solutions delivering direct transactional traffic between social networks and physical businesses (Studio Matrix). Consulting research delivered technopreneurial, innovative and entrepreneurial corporate competitiveness solution. Undertook agility research engaging speedy OSSD big data development.
2022-2025: John continues to mentor supervise seven
PhDs. His ongoing personal research includes: (1) CB-SEM statistical
appropriateness of path partial, optimal and full model approaches, (2)
Generative AI, (3) AI and health, (4) Software engineering and AI, (5) Smart
digital warehousing, (6) International banking models including iFintech, block
chain and global banking models, (7) Grand theory of competitiveness and data
support, and (8) Competitive drivers of Melanesian tertiary learning.
