Research
Research Interests
I am passionate about using computer technology to solve real-world problems. I’ve helped develop innovative solutions to conserve the Pacific Islands’ marine life. I have been working on an online data service that includes a mobile app for WWF officers to collect data remotely, an image classification model trained on various Pacific fish species, and a data management tool to understand the spawning potential of fish species. Another area that interests me is using image segmentation techniques to help Australian abalone farmers improve their stock management. My ultimate goal is to contribute to developing sustainable practices in various industries by leveraging computer technology.
