Biography
Dr Denise Dillon is the current acting Dean Research for JCU in Singapore. She is also Associate Dean Research Education at the JCU Singapore campus and Chair of the JCU Singapore IACUC. After serving as Head of Academic Group for psychology, arts and education for almost 10 years, Denise now facilitates and promotes the strategic direction of research within JCUS, improvements in the quality and impact of that research, and the growth of local, national and international research collaborations.
Research
Research Interests
Her primary research focus is biophilia (love for life and lifelike processes) pertaining to both natural and built environments, and Denise is a certified Forest Therapy Guide.
Denise is seeking expressions of interest from motivated individuals in potential PhD projects in the field of environmental psychology. Please submit a short (1 page max) cover letter detailing your suitability and interest, academic transcript and a CV with contact details for two referees by email. Enquiries about Masters, honours and minor projects are also welcome.

Denise's key teaching focus is environmental psychology, with additional teaching experience in the areas of personality and individual psychology, statistics and research methods, memory & cognition, health and social psychology, lifespan development, and effective writing.
