Biography
Dr Singh’s Doctoral research focus was studying the effects of psychological distance on construal and judgement of organizational leaders. This research is now extending into exploring group-related domains of decision making, social judgement, and impression formation. In addition, with students and colleagues, she has also conducted research and published in health psychology.
Dr Singh is also the post-graduate program coordinator for Masters in Psychological Science at JCUSingapore, is the Co-Chair of the AusAsian Mental Health Research Group (AMHRG) and Member of Peoples, Cultures, and Careers Research Cluster.
Apart from her academic work experiences, she has spent time working with children with special needs at Varanasi and also worked with an organizational development consultancy firm based in Hyderabad, India. She aims to bring this medley of experiences to her lectures and provide students with diverse, active, and engaging classroom learning experiences.
