Biography
Dr Kathryn Meldrum is an interdisciplinary researcher and
educational designer with over 25 years of experience in higher
education across Australia, the UK, and Asia. Her research focuses on
health, evaluation, and the scholarship of learning and teaching,
with a strong emphasis on place-based, community-led, and applied
research. She has led multi-site projects in First Nations social and
emotional wellbeing, collaborated nationally and
internationally—including with the University of Melbourne—and published
in high-impact journals such as BMJ Open, Plos One, and Transcultural Psychiatry.
Kathryn’s socholarship of learning and teaching work work bridges research and practice, supporting curriculum
innovation, professional learning, and institutional transformation. She
has collaboratively secured over $1M in competitive grant funding in projects ranging from First Nations health and wellbeing to the scholarship of learning and teaching.
