Biography
Dr Peter Chew is an Associate Professor in Psychology at James Cook University Singapore (JCUS). His primary area of research focus is on behavioral addictions (e.g., Internet gaming disorder). Specifically, he is interested in examining the prevalence, correlates, effects, and interventions of various behavioral addictions. His work has been published in academic journals like Addictive Behaviors and Psychiatric Quarterly and featured in media outlets such as The Asian Parent and The National Tribune.
