Description

As Head of Research at JCU’s Central Queensland Centre for Rural and Remote Health (CQCRRH), I led the Centre’s research strategy, portfolio and partnerships focused on improving health outcomes in rural, remote and Indigenous communities. I led the development of competitive research grants, high-impact studies and collaborations with universities, health services, communities and government agencies. I also provided research leadership and mentorship to staff and students, while supporting knowledge translation, publications and the growth of research capacity across Central Queensland.
