Scott Bradey

Scott Bradey is Head of Education Design at James Cook University, where he leads assessment reform and institutional learning design practice. His doctoral research applied Cultural-Historical Activity Theory to examine how university lecturers teach with technology, from which he developed the concept of affordances-in-use. His current research formalises this as an analytical framework for understanding educator use of generative AI in curriculum design and assessment.
