Kelsey Lowrie

Kelsey's scholarly interests as Associate Dean, Learning and Teaching, focus on the intersections of curriculum innovation, assessment reform, critical AI literacy and supporting students through authentic and engaging learning. 

As a senior education researcher, Kelsey has expertise in education policy, curriculum studies and interdisciplinary projects in a range of fields including: teacher education, education system integration, citizenship and values education, history teaching, and service learning. Recent and current projects include service learning curriculum and pedagogy design and education and health system integration to support student wellbeing.

Since taking up her position in 2011, Kelsey's teaching and research has focused on student and teacher agency in the school and the community. Various projects have explored culture and identity within secondary education and higher education insitutions. Kelsey also has an interest in the scholarship of teaching and learning and of research education.
