Biography
I am a forest geneticist and agroforester with more than 25 years of experience in Latin American and the Pacific. My work has centred on research and education to maximize the beneficial impacts of forest biodiversity on tropical livelihoods. Currently I am based in Lima, Peru, where I lead the World Agroforestry Centre's Latin American programme. I remain associated with JCU in my capacity as Adjunct Associate Professor.
