Biography
Dr. Alzayat Saleh is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Australian Institute of Marine Science at James Cook University (AIMS@JCU). He has a strong passion for deep learning applications in marine sciences, following his previous work in Deep Learning for Agriculture.
Dr. Saleh has made significant academic contributions, with 15 articles published in prestigious journals and conferences, and over 500 citations to his name. His research has been centered around developing innovative deep learning methods for underwater fish detection, segmentation, tracking, and landmark detection.
Recognized for his research excellence, Dr. Saleh has received several awards and scholarships. He values collaboration and enjoys working with other researchers and practitioners in the field of deep learning and aquaculture.
