Aileen Traves

Aileen is a locally trained medical practitioner, living and working in northern Queensland since 2000. Aileen was a member of the first cohort of doctors to train at James Cook University.

Aileen works in clinical practice as a specialist GP in Cairns. She is the Head of the Cairns Clinical School, overseeing medical training at JCU for students in their clinical years 4-6 of the undergraduate degree at James Cook University College of Medicine and Dentistry.

Aileen is currently the Deputy Chair of the RACGP Queensland Faculty Council.
