Biography
Dr Abhijit Das earned his PhD in Accounting from the University of Western Australia in 2022. He finished his Master of Accounting by Research from Edith Cowan University in Perth and Master of Financial Analysis and Master of Professional Accounting from La Trobe University, Melbourne. He is also qualified as a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) of Australia.
Research
Research Interests
His research interest focuses on understanding the judgement and decision-making (JDM) processes of accounting professionals, especially external auditors and how institutional and environment features impacts judgements and decisions. He uses psychological theories and experimentation to gain insights into fundamental accounting issues.
