Abstract
[Extract] Chiang Mai, Thailand, is one of the top Southeast Asian destinations and is popular with tourists visiting Thailand. Chiang Mai was the capital city of Lanna Kingdom beginning in 1296 and was incorporated into Siam (Thailand) in 1892. Over the years, tourism officials have promoted Chiang Mai as a destination for nature and cultural heritage tourism.
