The overall aim of this project is to provide both "hands-on-deliverables" and "research based" information to understand risk and resilience factors and to aid the development of effective interventions to eliminate suicide among elite youth rugby league players. We will achieve this by creating an explanatory model - that can be easily understood and used by the young person, parents, educators, sporting and health professionals - of risk and protection of youth suicide in this population.
