Biography
Profile
Dr Liu is a Fellow of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute (RACI), and the Queensland Representative for the Electrochemistry Division of the RACI. Her research interests are primarily in exploration of innovative technologies based on electrochemical reactions for environmental, biological and energy applications. The current areas of interest include the development of high-performance and low-cost electrochemical sensors using nanostructured materials, and utilisation of plasma electrochemistry for green synthesis, renewable energy and clean water applications.
Research Opportunities
Currently, we are looking for motivated PhD and MSc students to join us. Available research projects are:
- Advanced materials for electrochemical sensing applications
- Ion-selective sensors for environmental monitoring
Plasma electrocatalysis for removal of water pollutants
