Biography

Tahnee Innes is a Yawuru-nation descendant from Broome, Western Australia, with a PhD in Anthropology. Research experience includes Museum Engagement with Descendant Communities, Native Title, Environmental Politics, and Intangible Cultural Heritage. She worked in both academic and applied contexts with many First Nation groups in North Queensland and Cape York before becoming a lecturer in Anthropology at JCU. From Far North QLD, she continues the important professional training of Regional and First Nations people.
