Biography

Dr Tahnee Innes is a Yawuru-nation descendant from Broome, Western Australia, with a PhD in Anthropology. Her research experience includes Museum Engagement with Descendant Communities, Native Title, Environmental Politics, and Intangible Cultural Heritage. She has worked in both academic and applied contexts with several First Nations across Far North Queensland and Cape York. In her current role as lecturer in Anthropology at JCU, Cairns, she continues the important professional training of Regional and First Nations people.
