Abstract

COVID-19 pandemic has had a widespread and devastating economic impact globally. Companies have struggled to establish and adopt new strategies to survive during the epidemic, resulting in massive financial losses. The lack of finance and resources to develop a business continuity plan and a disaster recovery plan has made it challenging for businesses to sustain and retain their operations. Remote working has positively impacted and altered the outlook of companies on working sustainably over the long term. Nonetheless, remote working is dependent on factors such as secure work equipment and secure home internet infrastructure.
