PhD researcher at James Cook University, Townsville Australia with a keen interest in application based research, non-invasive sampling techniques, disease diagnostic tools, and aquatic animal health.

My PhD project is focused on developing early pathogen detection and animal welfare diagnostics in barramundi aquaculture.  Specifically, I am exploring the potential of using genetic and proteomic tools as a means to manage and ultimately prevent disease outbreaks in aquaculture systems.
