Biography

Dr Lijuan Shen is a Senior Lecturer in Data Science at the School of Science and Technology, James Cook University, Singapore Campus. Her research bridges the fields of data science and systems resilience, with a focus on advancing data-driven approaches to evaluate and enhance the resilience of complex infrastructure systems.

Dr Shen has published more than 40 peer-reviewed articles in leading international journals, including IEEE Transactions on Reliability, IISE Transactions, Journal of Quality Technology, Reliability Engineering & System Safety, and International Journal of Production Economics. She has served as a Guest Editor for Quality and Reliability Engineering International and is an active reviewer for a range of peer-reviewed journals.

Dr Shen received a research grant from the National Research Foundation of Singapore in 2021. She actively contributes to the international research community through regular conference participation and has received several awards, including the Best Paper Award at SRSE 2022.
