Biography
I am a quantitative ecology researcher passionate about conserving biodiversity. I employ quantitative tools and data-driven approaches to understand and protect ecosystems and species at broad spatial scales. My research covers the fields of biogeography, macroecology, and remote sensing, and my skills lie in quantitative modelling using statistical and machine learning models with R, Google Earth Engine, and GIS programs.
I work as a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at James Cook University in the Global Ecology Lab led by Prof Nicholas Murray to develop new maps of ecosystem distributions as part of the Global Ecosystems Atlas initiative.
I have a Bachelor of Science (Zoology) and a Master of Science (BioSciences) from The University of Melbourne, and a Doctorate from Deakin University.
