Abstract
[Extract] A 24-year-old male Bangladeshi asylum seeker presented to the emergency department of Policlinico A. Gemelli of Rome, Italy with multiple skin lesions. The patient had emigrated from his home country 10 months before, had spent 6 months in poor hygienic conditions in refugee detention camps in Libya and had arrived in Italy from the detention camp two weeks prior.
