Developing a Bachelor of Arts capstone for WIL

Capstone subjects such as the internship or placement subject are typically seen as a means by which the student is provided a culminating university experience that provides that all-important bridge between theoretical approaches and real and applied work practice experiences. But can a capstone for a Bachelor of Arts degree be designed such that rather than concentrating on specific skills in majors or areas of study, the student is brought back to reflect and celebrate the inter-disciplinary nature of the BA? This question gains more relevancy as more students graduate with a BA, only to face a job market that insists on clear thinking, an ordered intellect and self context, on top of skills and specific knowledge stores.
