The CALM trial was a randomised, non-inferiority clinical trial evaluating an eight-week, online group-based lifestyle medicine program against standard cognitive behavioural therapy. The methodology utilized six Zoom sessions led by a dietitian and exercise physiologist focusing on a Mediterranean-style diet and increased physical activity, with outcomes tracked via standard mental health scales, dietary tracking, and cost-effectiveness analyses.
