Over the past 2 years I have collaborated with Andrew Moss to further the science of water quality monitoring and eDNA sampling across northern Queensland. We both sit on the Technical Working Groups (as water quality experts) for the Wet Tropics, Dry Tropics and Mackay, Whitsunday, Isaac Healthy Waterways Report cards. This has allowed us the opportunity to build rapport and hold discussions on the methods that underpin our respective work. Recently we have collaborated on the collection of eDNA in remote Gulf country in north-west Queensland which has resulted in a large amount of data collected from regions where previously no data existed.
