Description
Global conservation targets require information about the extent of ecosystem degradation across a broad diversity of ecosystem types. However, advancing our ability to detect and summarise large-scale degradation remains a key challenge to support improved conservation and management of natural areas around the world. Through a series of case studies, this project will develop new tools and approaches for understanding and quantifying ecosystem degradation at the scales necessary to report on global environmental targets.
