Description
At Farm/Agribusiness, Town/Community, or Regional Scale (several projects available) Drought has significant impact on the wellbeing of people and communities across Tropical North Queensland. While drought affects all industries in Tropical North Queensland, agricultural industries including sugar, beef, dairy, vegetable, citrus, and tropical fruit are most affected. The TNQ Hub has projects available across all of its programs: Sustainable Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Enterprise (SATSIE); Transformational Agricultural Systems (TAS); Building Human Capacity (BHC); Innovation and Commercialisation (I&C) and more broadly adoption of practices that lead to better preparedness for future climate variability.
