Description

In November 2023, SGNRM partnered up with JCU, Tropical North Queensland Drought Hub (TNQDH) and Northern Territory Department of Industry, Tourism and Trade (NTDITT) to hold the Bare Ground Restoration Workshop in Julia Creek. The day was focused on facilitating discussions and collaboration between land managers, managers and specialists around enhancing drought resilience through soil and rangeland management and restoring bare ground. Participants were provided with several resources including the forum report and flyer. 15 people in attendance, 5 of which were land managers in the region, 1 from JCU, 2 from TNQ Drought Hub, 2 from SG NRM, 1 from DAF and 4 from NT DITT.
