Description

I was the JCU Institution representative for 23 Things International 2024. 2024 marked James Cook University's inaugural participation in this unique, self-directed, online global program. I organised advertising and information sessions, recruiting over 80 participants from JCUA, including 11 from JCUS. 23 Things International 2023 is a unique, self-directed, online global programme for researchers interested in learning new tools for research, building their professional profile, and networking. Topics range from podcasting to understanding open access, crowdsourcing to publication strategy, career mapping to infographics. It is free and open to doctoral researchers, and academics from all disciplines.
