Biography
Veterinary Pathologist and experienced academic with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education sector and liaising with a range of stakeholders and service providers. Holds memberships in veterinary pathology with the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (ANZCVS). Experienced shelter veterinary surgeon and regular veterinary volunteer to improve animal welfare and access-to-care challenges faced by vulnerable populations. Special research interests include pathology in community dogs and wildlife.

- One health with a focus on pathology of free roaming dogs in remote Australian communities.
- Biosecurity and disease surveillance, supporting disease preparedness through pathology-lead research and investigations.
- Wildlife health and protection of vulnerable species, with a focus on comparative pathology and laboratory testing.
