Lucy Bird

I am a postdoctoral research fellow in social political psychology. My research examines the psychological predictors of collective action and allyship. I focus in particular on the roles of emotions, identities, and attitudes in promoting progressive social change while protecting people’s mental health. My work prioritises practical implications, with the aim of producing outcomes that inform policy, industry, government, and non-governmental organisations.
