Biography
My PhD studies were done at Glasgow University a very long time ago. The topic was the life-cycles of parasites infecting trout in fish-farms.
I have worked at James Cook University for two blocks of time. The first was in the late 1970s and the second started in 1989. In between those times, I was a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Queensland (in the then Parasitology Dept) and a lecturer in the Zoology Dept at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand.
