    Biography

    Cecelia is a Obstetrician, Gynaecologist and Maternal Fetal Medicine subspecialist working in North Queensland. Cecelia was raised in Inverell, a small rural town in NSW and has always been passionate about brining equitable care to women living in rural and remote Australia.

    Cecelia is a Senior Lecturer at James Cook University since 2021, co-ordinating the Reproductive and Neonatal health rotation for 5th year medical students and is actively involved in perinatal education at all levels. 

    Cecelia is an early career researcher and completed her PhD at the University of Adelaide with active interest areas in stillbirth, placental pathology, rheumatic heart disease, diabetes and pre-eclampsia.
