Biography

Rabia is a PhD student at JCU investigating the link between mental health and Peripheral artery disease. Her research employs an integrated approach using bioinformatics, clinical studies and in vitro studies. During her Masters degree in Pharmacology she worked in ethnopharmacology, using rat model to study the in vivo and in vitro pharmacology of natural compounds. During her pharmacy degree she conducted a clinical pharmacy project on pain and anxiety management in burn patients. She also has a professional experience as a government certified teacher and a pharmacist at community pharmacies, a distribution company and a trainee pharmacist at hospital.
