Biography
Andrea is a passionate educator currently employed in the discipline of Nursing and Midwifery. As a registered nurse with over 30 years of experience, she holds a postgraduate certificate in nursing with a focus on nursing education. Andrea is dedicated to fostering student engagement through Universal Learning Design principles. She is an experienced Research Officer with a demonstrated history of excellence in the higher education industry, skilled in Emergency Planning, Safety Management Systems, Healthcare Management, Healthcare, and Patient Safety.
A strong research professional with a Master’s degree focused in Public Health and Tropical Medicine, Andrea has a proven track record in managing international conferences, large teams, and solo projects with equal proficiency. She has a deep passion for mental health disorders and wellness, and although she is new to this space, she is continually growing her knowledge and expertise. Currently a new PhD candidate, Andrea is committed to advancing her expertise and contributing to the field, embodying a lifelong commitment to learning and professional development.
