Abstract

Numerous studies on musical activity and well-being have demonstrated that participating in music can improve multiple aspects of well-being across various populations. Krause, Davidson, and North (2018) developed a comprehensive measurement of musical activity and well-being, identifying five dimensions of well-being that can be experienced through music participation. The present study aims to conduct a cross-cultural examination of university students' well-being by investigating their engagement in musical activities across the UK, Australia, China, and Singapore.
