Open Access: Projects, Problems and Prospects
Journal Contribution ResearchOnline@JCUBrennan, Claire;Luetchford, Alice;Ovaska, Claire
Abstract
The open access landscape is a vibrant and evolving one, although it is constantly shifting, contains pitfalls, and is the scene of contests between a variety of actors. It can be difficult to identify projects that promise to endure, that are academically credible, and that might be useful within schools. This article will discuss that landscape, the forces shaping it, and some regions of it that have been developed by staff based at James Cook University.
