Abstract

[Extract] With ever-increasing global volatility and competition, the view on creativity and innovation has shifted from being good-to-have luxuries to essential commodities (McWilliam et al., 2010; Peters et al., 2009; Stamm, 2008). Its essential role in business was exemplified during the COVID-19 pandemic, where business models had to be rapidly revamped due to sudden global supply chain disruptions and restrictions imposed to reduce physical contacts (Donthu & Gustafsson, 2020; McLaughlin, 2022).
