Abstract

[Extract] Did you know that? The Sturt Desert Pea was one of the first Australian plants collected? It was collected by Dampier in 1699, fragments of which are in the Oxford University Herbarium. However, this is not the type material because no name was published based on this specimen. In handwritten notes on the specimen if the name Colutea novae-hollandiae.
