A Case Study for Social Work Students: working with Indigenous communities

Abstract
A social work case study on working with the Aboriginal community, and capturing student discussions and exchange led by Indigenous elder. For the social worker, working in indigenous communities can be quite a challenge. It has been common practice in social work education to present the student with a folder of case studies from which to learn. Bu today's students prefer and thrive on more stimulating learning materials such as videos. Combining the use of case studies and transforming these into video form that demonstrates student engagement student engagement is one way of showcasing the positive effect of producing blended learning materials for classroom use.
