Website benchmarking: theoretical and measurement aspects
Conference Publication ResearchOnline@JCUCassidy, Leonie;Hamilton, John
Abstract
Benchmarking of websites remains poorly developed. Currently no comprehensive broad-based, systematic, measurement procedure or website benchmarking theory exists. This article discusses the theory of website benchmarking, and builds the mathematics behind website measurement via a three level domain, group and item set-theory approach. It offers a multi-level, interpretable measurement solution to managing websites, and also sheds light on developing a website benchmarking theory.
