The Medicine selection process has changed significantly in the past few years, with the removal of the written application component of the selectin process and through the introduction of an online application portal. This study aims to evaluate these changes through a) investigating medicine program applicants’ and medicine interview panelists’ perspectives on the selection process through an online post selection survey b) exploring the panelists' and MBBS students' experiences and perspectives regarding the selection process through interview and focus group and, c) measuring the association between the application and selection criteria and the academic performance of MBBS students
