Alternative Splicing signatures in Non-Hodgkin lymphoma

The University of Sydney
Role

Chief Investigator

Description

In this project, we will perform a comprehensive alternative splicing analysis of 100 NKTCL samples from patients treated at SJTU. We will integrate whole exome sequencing and RNA sequencing data and perform Capture Sequencing (CaptureSeq) on these samples to identify causes of aberrant intron retention (IR), a recently-discovered layer of gene expression control. We will verify the diagnostic merit of an IR-based signature and aim to enhance risk stratification of patients with NKTCL. Completion of this project will confirm IR as an important mode of gene expression control that modulates patient outcomes in the treatment of NKTCL.
