Description
Chromatin structure and nuclear architecture in cancer cells is poorly understood. Sabotaging DNA architecture at chromatin interaction hubs has not been previously proposed as a potential cancer treatment. Our large amount of exciting preliminary data forms the basis of an important breakthrough in the biology of cancer. From this study we will gain new insights into molecular mechanisms underlying cancer development. We anticipate the findings of the study will have enormous implications for the cancer research field and will reveal new therapeutic avenues for cancer treatment.
