Description

I am the founding member of Drukrig Network of Bhutan Researchers, a voluntary scholarly forum for Bhutanese researchers and other international scholars researching Bhutan. A monthly colloquium has been held since 2020 to date. The objectives were to deliberate and present the PhD thesis and apply them to formulating the country's policies, transforming the system, including the findings in the educational curricula, and facilitating collaboration with various stakeholders such as members of parliaments/ national councils. This network also provides mentorship to the young Bhutanese students and researchers who aspire to pursue PhDs, and facilitates proposal and grant writing skills.
