Li-Anthawirriyarra Sea Rangers in collaboration with Charles Darwin University, James Cook University, NT Parks and Wildlife and Marine Parks, Parks Australia. Awarded for a collaboration that has provided the basis for developing a culturally-driven framework for protection and management of values in the Marra’s Limmen Bight Marine Park and Yanyuwa Sea Country. The project involved the mapping and documentation of marine benthic habitats through aerial and boat surveys and has resulted in on-Country identification and protection of important and endangered species.
