Biography
Sue Lenthall is an experience researcher, educator and academic particularly in the field of rural and remote health and remote area nursing. Sue has a background as a remote area nurse in remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in Queensland and in Central Australia. Sue has worked as educator coordinator withy the RACGPs in Queensland and as an academic with Flinders University in the Northern Territory. Sue was the foundation course coordinator of the Remote Health Practice Program and has developed numberous curricula for remote health professionals. Sue completed a PhD in ‘’reducing occupational stress among nurses in very remote Northern Territory and has.conducted research and supervised research students in numerous projects involving qualitative and quantitative methods. In particular, utilising participative action research (PAR), Change management, surveys, SPSS and thematic analysis. As well as writing journal papers.
