Biography

Dr Hafihz is a Lecturer in Marketing at James Cook University (Singapore Campus) with a decade of industry experience. He uses quantitative and qualitative research methods to study topics in services marketing, technology adoption, and halal and hospitality. His over 30 publications include academic articles in the European Journal of Marketing, Australasian Marketing Journal, Journal of Global Fashion Marketing, Journal of Islamic Marketing, Journal of Computer Information Systems, and Current Issues in Tourism.

In addition to his teaching and research, Dr Hafihz serves on several journal editorial and industry advisory boards. He contributes to the growth and inclusivity of various sectors and bridges the academia-practitioner gap by providing research-backed opinions to organizations. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CMktr FCIM) and the Chartered Management Institute (FCMI), and a recipient of the university's Early Career Researcher and Engagement Excellence Awards.
