Frank Zich

I am the Curator and Collection Manager of the collections of the Australian Tropical Herbarium (ATH), and Senior Research Technician with the National Research Collections Australia (CSIRO). My main role is to curate specimens and maintain collection databases in the herbarium. My main project is the development and maintenance of the interactive identification system 'Australian Tropical Rainforest Plants' for identifying rainforest plants of northern Australia (https://apps.lucidcentral.org/rainforest/text/intro/index.html). My research interests are primarily in taxonomy and I undertake small taxonomic projects occasionally. I have numerous other minor roles that include assisting in the compilation of entries into the Australian Plant Name Index and representing the ATH on the Managers of Australasian Herbarium Collections (MAHC) working group.
